Professional-Grade Tools That Pledge To Never Forget Those Who Serve Us, And Never Fail Those We Serve
After a conversation in a gym between Army veterans about a wounded and paralyzed veteran struggling to fund home wheelchair ramps, Spec Ops Tools was born. The founders committed to building a line of tools that personified the determination of a team of veterans and committed to giving three percent of every purchase back to support veteran causes. Today they engineer and design rugged, professional-grade hand tools (hammers, tape measures, knives, levels, work lights, chisels, pry bars, screwdrivers) for personal or professional use.
Spec Ops hammers are made from high-carbon steel with solid, shock-absorbing handles and feature a lighter head design with a ballistically balanced feel meant to reduce arm fatigue and vibration sting; they hold up well against heavy job-site abuse and demolition work. Many models include a magnetic nail starter groove and a removable soft rubber mallet/cap that converts the hammer face into a soft-strike mallet for woodworking or finishing work.

Their levels deliver elite performance on any job, and their two longer levels come in both magnetic and non-magnetic styles. In contrast, our torpedo and pocket levels feature high-powered magnets exclusively. Our 24”, 48”, and torpedo levels all feature our patented Tourniquet™ Bungee System. The Tourniquet Bungee System is a hands-free leveling solution that uses onboard, integral bungees to secure the levels to lumber up to 2×8, conduit, PVC, and many other materials. The bungee stows within the end caps when not in use, so it will not get in the way during normal operation.
Whether you’re framing a house, hanging a door, or finishing a weekend project, Spec Ops Tools are built to keep up with you. Every hammer, level, and tape measure carries the same determination that started the company, and with three percent of every purchase going back to support veteran causes, each tool you pick up does a little good beyond the job site.
