Building Materials Salesperson

Kitchen & Bath Designer
What You’ll Do
- Meet with homeowners to understand their vision, lifestyle, budget, and project goals.
- Design functional and attractive kitchens, bathrooms, and other living spaces using DesignFlex (2020).
- Present designs, product selections, and estimates with confidence and professionalism.
- Guide customers through cabinetry, countertops, hardware, storage solutions, and finishing selections.
- Prepare accurate quotations and place orders with manufacturers.
- Coordinate with contractors, builders, installers, and vendors throughout the project.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent communication and follow-up.
- Build long-term relationships that generate referrals and repeat business.
- Stay current on design trends, products, and industry best practices.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative eye for design with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in kitchen & bath design, interior design, cabinetry, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with design software such as 20/20 Design is preferred.
- Sales experience and confidence presenting solutions to customers is highly valued.
- Self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn and grow.

Kitchen & Bath Design Coordinator
At GNH Lumber & Home, we help homeowners bring their dream kitchens and bathrooms to life. We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to become the first point of contact for our Kitchen & Bath department. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and supporting a team. While design experience is a plus, it’s not required—we’re looking for the right person with the right attitude. We’ll provide the training needed to succeed.
- Welcome homeowners into our showroom and create an outstanding first impression.
- Qualify every new lead before it reaches a designer.
- Meet with customers to gather project information and understand their goals.
- Conduct Kitchen & Bath intake appointments and collect measurements, inspiration photos, budgets, and timelines.
- Schedule field measures and design appointments for our Kitchen & Bath Designers.
- Follow up with customers throughout the sales process.
- Maintain customer records and assist with project documentation.
- Support our designers with administrative tasks, product selections, and project coordination.
- Help keep the showroom organized, current, and inviting.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, office administration, or sales is welcomed.
